NORTH COUNTY - A TV show launched by the San Diego North Economic Development Council began airing this week.

The 60-minute show focuses on the economy of North County and will be aired on cable channels. Its first installment was Sunday afternoon. The format includes interviews and discussions.

Participants represent regional business and policy leaders, including Marney Cox, chief economist of the San Diego Association of Governments, and Gary Knight, president and CEO of the San Diego North Economic Development Council.

The show will air at 4:30 p.m. Sundays on Time Warner's Channel 18 in North County and on Channel 23 in South County. It also will air at various times on KOCT, Channel 19, in Oceanside. The dates and times that Cox Communications will air the show haven't been set.
